BRANDS HATCH MEDIA DAY 2008
A week later Leon is at Brands Hatch again, this time for the Brands Hatch Media Day.
With a mix of bike's, car's and truck's it was a great opportunity for the UK's media to get taken round the indie circuit at high speed. Leon spent all morning taking various journalists on the back of the new 08 CBR Fireblade, he scare too many of them. It wasn't the warmest day but he was soon inside for interviews. That was the warmest part of the day; it actually started off a lot different!!!
At 7.30 this morning Leon turned up to do a photo shoot for Cosmo magazine and Everyman charity, which helps raise awareness for Testicular Cancer. In the past they have used stars like Lenny Kravitz, Jason Donavan, Stephen Dorff and even James Toseland, so it was an honour for Leon to be chosen to represent such a worthy cause.
It wasn't until he got there though that he was told it was a naked shoot, it wasn't really an issue but there wasn't heater in the garage, and it turned out to be not the most comfortable of hours. For all you ladies out there it's definitely worth checking it out.
All in all the day was a great success and a great opportunity. Leon is now gearing up for his first test in Almeria and is also so excited about the first round at Brands on the 6th of April.
