t's finally here, the Suzuka 8 Hour. I have waited many years and months to be able to take part in this event. It seems to have taken ages to finally come around, I have been over to Japan 3 times before this and trying to fit that in around my own racing schedule has been hard work but worth it.
It been a very busy few weeks in the Haslam camp, not only have there been a couple of very exciting races with Mallory Park and Oulton Park, but we've also managed to fit in a trip to Vicenza to the Spidi factory and 09 Launch, a trip to the Silverstone F1 with the Honda Dreamfields event, a trip to Goodwood Festival of Speed again for Honda, a nude photo shoot for Anderson and Low for The Elton John Aids Foundation and then back to Japan.

I am about to make the best excuse in the world why I have not updated the site everyday while we were on our trip in Chamonix. My dog ate it!!!!
We are finally here, after a long and winding journey through the French Alps and a very dark drive through the night we all reached Chamonix at 6.30 in the morning. We all decided to be hardcore and go to the slopes straight after a well deserved cup of tea.
Over the last few years Leon and I have wanted to go on a skiing holiday, New Year has always been the only time to go for us but we always end up going to Spain to do a racedays track day and spending New Years in Le Manga, not only because its awesome fun but also because loads of our friends go. This Year however Gerry Bryce who runs Racedays decided to take his family skiing instead of doing the track days, so we just thought it would be rude not to really.
