Leon Haslam qualified in fifth place, on the second row, for Sunday's fifth round of the World Superbike Championship at Monza in Italy.
Haslam, 1m 42.633s - 5th:
"Superpole 1 was good then in Superpole 2 and Superpole 3 I got held up badly so was forced to abort those laps but I did manage to get a second lap out of the soft rear tyre and earn fifth place. We've a couple of minor changes to look at in the warm-up tomorrow morning but generally the machine set-up is very good. It will be all about top speed tomorrow so I'll try to get two good starts and then hang in there in the races."
