BMW's Leon Haslam will start from the second row of the grid in Sunday's third round of the World Superbike Championship at Assen, Holland after qualifying in seventh place.
"Generally I've felt pretty confident this weekend. We've picked up some chatter from the rear which I'm confident that the team will improve.
"It's been a demanding couple of days in terms of the ever-changing weather but that's the same for everyone so we just need to deal with it and move on.
"Starting from the second row is OK and will certainly put me in the picture in the races. I'm just disappointed that I wasn't able to challenge for the front row."
